Northridge Wrestling competes at Huntsville Invitational

The Jags traveled to Huntsville for duals on Friday and Saturday and finished in ninth place overall, in a field of 31 teams. Northridge competed in Overall, Boys, Girls and JV divisions.

The Varsity Boys finished in fifth place overall, in a field of 28 varsity boys teams. Out of 11 boys competing, six finished in the Top 6 of their weight classes. Hunter Evans and Donny Burnett finished in fourth place in their respective divisions. Robert Felix finished in fourth place. And Andrew Rath, Demarion Cotton and Rodarius Lee finished in sixth place.

Ariyanna Hardrix and Colleen Barkey competed in the Girls Invitational on Friday night, as well. Hardrix finished in third place and Barkey finished in fifth place.

Updated individual records for those who placed: Evans moved to 22-4; Donny Burnett,14-2; Robert Felix, 23-1; Andrew Rath, 17-6; Rodarius Lee, 17-6 and Demarion Cotton, 14-9.
