Lady Jags Volleyball takes wins over Bryant and Hillcrest

Northridge Volleyball logged victories over area foe Paul W. Bryant (9/22) and Hillcrest (9/23). The Lady Jags downed the Lady Stampede in straight sets, 3-0. Northridge split the first two sets with the Lady Patriots, 25-20 and 23-25, but rebounded to take the final two sets, 25-21 and 25-17 to record the win.

In the Bryant win, Sage Jackson recorded three aces, seven kills and 5 digs. Avery Warren totaled four aces, four kills and 24 assists. Chloe Calhoun picked up 17 digs and Nola Gillespie had 10 kills.

Against Hillcrest, Sage Jackson with 12 kills and two blocks. Avery Warren recorded four aces, 11 kills, 25 assists and 19 digs. Nola Gillespie tallied nine kills and two blocks.

The wins ran the Lady Jags season record to 13-9, with a 5-0 area record.
