Jags rebound with 4-2 win over Wildcats
After being on the wrong end of a 4-2 decision to the Hillcrest Patriots on Wednesday, the Northridge Jaguars took an early lead and held off a comeback attempt by the Tucsaloosa County Wildcats on Thursday at The Ridge. The Jags got all of their runs in their half of the third inning and held on for a 4-2 win.

Thomas Woolf followed with a single to center, with Elam holding up at second. Grayson Cannon entered as a courtesy runner for Woolf and Elam stole third on the next pitch. Cannon advanced to second, without an attempt. An error by the catcher allowed Elam to score and Cannon to advance to third. Wyatt Rath singled to center on a 2-2 count, scoring Cannon. Evan Malone double to center on an 2-0 count, with Rath stopping at third. Kyle Nunnally followed with a single to plate Malone and Rath. A ground out would end the inning, with the Jags holding a 4-0 lead.
