Jags Summer Basketball (photo gallery)

One thing I’ve learned in the last couple weeks is that NHS Jags Sports don’t take much time off. That said, the Jags Boys and Girls basketball teams were in action in Tuscaloosa on Thursday, each playing three games over the course of the day. The Jags played one game at the University of Alabama basketball practice facility and two at the UA Student Recreational Facility. The Lady Jags played all three of their games at home at NHS.

The Boys went 3-0 on the day, defeating Fort Payne, Fairhope and Austin of Decatur. The Girls went 2-1 on the day, defeating Northside and Tuscaloosa County but coming up just short against Hillcrest.

Below is a gallery from the Boys’ Fairhope game and the Girls’ Tuscaloosa County game. You’ll see some familiar faces and some new faces, too.
