Lady Jags advance to title game with win over Dothan
The Northridge Lady Jags advanced to the title game of the 2025 Jaguar Thanksgiving Jam with a win over the Dothan Lady Wolves on Tuesday evening. Possibly the most noteworthy stat of the game is that Northridge pitched a shutout in the second and fourth quarters. The Lady Jags allowed seven first quarter points and 11 third quarter points, keeping the Lady Wolves off the board in the second and final quarters. Northridge kept their offensive output fairly consistent, scoring 15 in each quarter of the first half, then 14 and 14 in the final two quarters. The result was a decisive 40-point victory, 58-18.
Aleia Morrell led Northridge with 20 points. She also collected six rebounds and had three steals. Ryan Bardenwerper netted 13 points, six rebounds and two steals. Jakeya Horton totaled nine points and grabbed seven rebounds. Taylor Ivory had seven points, four rebounds and six steals. Avay Maye, La’Miah Foy and Bayne Brown had three points each. Maye and Foy also added four rebounds and Brown had three rebounds.
