Lady Jags get first area win in lopsided victory at Brookwood
After rescheduling what would have been their first area game at Central, the Northridge Lady Jags traveled to Brookwood to take on the Lady Panthers. The starters for Northridge exited early in the matchup, with the bench picking up reins and finishing with a 59-5 rout.
The Lady Jags scored 21 points in the first quarter and 18 in the second. The scoring dropped off a little in the third, but the quarter ended with Northridge up 53-5. The Lady Panthers failed to score in the fourth quarter and the Lady Jags only added six more point, ending with the 59-5 victory.
Jakeya Horton led Northridge with 15 points. Aleia Morrell added nine and JaMiya Rice added eight. Ryan Bardenwerper finished with seven points and Taylor Ivory totaled six. Milly Aresenault got into he scoring column with five points and La’Miah Foy had four. Bayne Brown ended the evening with three points and Za’Niyah Rice finished with two points.
