NHS Boys claim Boys Class 6A Outdoor title, Girls place third
For an encore to the AHSAA Class 6A Indoor State Championship, the Northridge Boys added the outdoor title to their 2024 resume. The Boys team ended the state title meet with a 62.5 points total which put them at the top of the board. UMS-Wright finished second with 57.75 points and Homewood placed third with 48.25 points.
William Numnum and Khiyon Lewis claimed individual titles in pole vault and triple jump, respectively. Numnum posted a 15-00 for the pole vault and Lewis landed at 46-10.75 in the triple jump.

The Girls team missed capturing second place by less than one point. Mountain Brook handily took the championship, totaling 114 points. Fort Payne totaled 63.5 points to claim second place and Northridge placed third with 63 total points.
