Northridge Volleyball makes state tournament

The Northridge Lady Jags Volleyball Team will be playing in the 2025 AHSAA Class 6A State Volleyball Tournament today, starting at 1:30PM. The Lady Jags defeated Stanhope Elmore (3-0) and McAdory (3-0) to advance to the Elite 8 round. Northridge suffered losses to Saraland and Spain Park last Friday, but will still be participating in the state tournament.

Stat leaders over the four matches include: Cooper Stripling – nine aces, 39 assists; Avery Warren – seven aces, 26 kills, 49 assists, 35 digs; Caroline Way – 20 kills; Chloe Calhoun – 18 digs; Mckenzie Small – 14 assists, 39 digs; Mallory Porter – 14 kills; Nola Gillespie – 22 kills, two blocks; and Sage Jackson – 20 kills, two blocks.
